The 17th District covers A LOT of ground in Northwest and Central Illinois. As a result, running a campaign here can get expensive quickly. I know we ask you a lot, so we want to be totally transparent about what we do with your donations.
The money you donate goes directly to:
- ✓ Television advertisements.
- ✓ Digital ads to engage voters we can't reach face-to-face or on TV.
- ✓ Fueling up when Eric’s on the road meeting with voters.
- ✓ Producing and printing literature to hand out in the community.
- ✓ Launching our get out the vote program to get Democrats to the polls.
- ✓ And much, much more…
The point is this: our fundraising goals aren’t arbitrary -- they’re the minimum amount we need in order to educate and engage the voters who will turn out and elect Eric to Congress!
Our August deadline is coming up in 48 hours, and we’re still a bit short of raising what we need to run a fully funded campaign.
