60 Anti-Israel Protesters Arrested in Chicago
Sixty protesters, demonstrating against U.S. policies on Israel, were arrested during the second night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
According to the Chicago Police Superintendent, 22 of the 60 arrested were agitators who lived outside of Chicago, many of them from the West Coast. Read More

Masked Man Waves Nazi Flag at DNC
A masked man was seen carrying a Nazi flag at an anti-Israel demonstration outside the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
Protesters were also seen holding flags of Hamas and Hezbollah, adding to the controversy. Read More
Man Who Threatened to Kill Federal Judges Sentenced to 20 Years
Michael Dean Drew, 51, was sentenced to 20 additional years in prison for sending letters threatening to kill federal judges and other public officials.
Drew mailed letters from prison detailing plans to recruit gang members for the murders, referencing his affiliation with the Aryan Nation.
Drew pleaded guilty to five counts of mailing threatening communications. Read More
Antifa Sympathizer Pleads Guilty to Detonating Explosive Device
A man with suspected Antifa sympathies, Kyle Benjamin Douglas Calvert, 26, of Irondale, Ala., pleaded guilty in federal court to the malicious use of an explosive device he set outside the Alabama Attorney General’s Office.
Calvert admitted during the plea hearing to manufacturing the device himself, using items such as nails and screws to act as shrapnel along with accelerants to cause an explosion.
He had previously posted Antifa content on social media, expressed his belief that violence should be directed against the government, and placed Antifa stickers near the scene of the crime.
Calvert faces between five and 20 years in prison. Read More
Neo-Nazis March Through Harrisburg
A neo-Nazi group marched through Harrisburg, Pa., causing outrage and concern in the community.
Both the City of Harrisburg and the Jewish Federation issued statements condemning the march, calling it a hateful and offensive act. Read More

NYC Parks Employee Charged With Murder as a Hate Crime
Elijah Mitchell, 23, of Queens, N.Y., a parks worker for New York City, has been indicted on charges including murder as a hate crime.
Mitchell allegedly shot Arturo Jose Rodriguez Marcano, 30, from Venezuela after Mitchell and Rodriguez Marcano got into an argument at the park. Read More
Jews at DNC Had to Meet in Secret to Avoid Antisemitic Attacks
Holocaust survivor and former Anti-Defamation League national director Abraham Foxman expressed concern on Wednesday that the situation for Jews in the U.S. had deteriorated to the point that they had to meet in secret at events like the Democratic Party National Convention.
Attendees at Jewish Democratic Council of America's meetings had to pre-register to receive the location, and private security and metal detectors were present.
