As we approach our end-of-month fundraising deadline, we wanted to take a moment to explain why big goals like ours matter so much.

In Ohio, we’re fighting to protect our democracy, our rights, and our freedoms. Big fundraising goals give us the opportunity to secure the resources we need to directly fuel these fights, whether it’s supporting Democrats that stand up for our reproductive freedoms, fighting back against Republicans trying to silence Ohioans’ voices, or championing candidates that deliver for Ohio’s families.

But this year’s election isn’t just about Ohio. The work we do here resonates across the entire country. If Democrats win in Ohio, we win in Washington.

When we reach our goals, we can support Democrats in Ohio up and down the ballot so we can ensure that democracy will prevail, our rights and freedoms will be protected, and our voices will be heard.
