While families in our district were grappling with the aftermath of the devastating flooding that tragically killed two people, destroyed homes, and displaced many of our neighbors, Congresswoman Jahana Hayes was busy cozying up to her elitist friends at the Democratic National Convention.


She had multiple opportunities to catch a quick flight home to support our community in a time of crisis but chose to stay and party through the DNC instead. This is exactly what's wrong with Washington and why we need new leadership that actually puts our district first.


Jahana Hayes has shown us where her priorities lie -- and it's NOT with you. She'd rather play political games on the national stage than address the real issues facing our families right here at home.


George Logan has always believed that the needs of our community come first. While Jahana Hayes was busy rubbing elbows with the DNC elite, George was out in the community surveying the damage, speaking to residents affected by the flooding, and meeting with local leaders.
