Do you know what’s on page 465 of Project 2025? On this one page, the Republican roadmap proposes undoing three things Democrats got done to lower costs for seniors. Project 2025 would:
- End Medicare’s power to negotiate drastically lower drug prices
- Reinstate Big Pharma’s ability to price gouge freely
- Eliminate free vaccines through Medicare
That’s just one page, team. And spoiler alert – the rest of it isn’t pretty.
The creepy Project 2025 plan also paves the way for a national abortion ban. It destroys our public education system by wiping out school meal programs, defunding public schools, and eliminating Head Start. It further twists the campaign finance system in favor of the wealthy by raising contribution limits. It also weakens protections for clean air and water, makes health care less affordable, and increases housing costs for working families.
Donald Trump can try and deny his involvement in Project 2025, but the truth is that this was put together by his close associates.
It's a nightmare cooked up by a dark-money thinktank, and we need to make sure it doesn't happen.
