Folks, Donald Trump has made it crystal clear that flipping Virginia is a top priority in 2024. His campaign even said outright that VA is a crucial part of their general election strategy. 

That’s why he came to Virginia this week to campaign side-by-side with Hung Cao — Tim Kaine’s MAGA Republican opponent for U.S. Senate.

It’s no surprise that Trump is campaigning with Cao. After all, the two of them are cut from exactly the same cloth: 

• They both call themselves avowed MAGA supporters. 
• They both trash-talk NATO (Cao even called NATO employees “lazy” and said that they “don’t do $#!*”).
• They both stoop to name-calling — Cao loves calling Tim Kaine a “communist” even though it’s his party that refuses to stand up to Vladimir Putin.  
• They both spread conspiracies about the 2020 election. 
• They’ve both made clear that they don’t believe women should be able to make their own reproductive choices. 

We’re confident Virginians will reject Trump and Cao’s divisive message, but Trump wouldn’t be coming here to support a Senate candidate if his team didn’t think Cao had a real shot at winning. 

With stakes this high, we can’t leave anything to chance — so we’re pushing as hard as we can to reach our August fundraising goal of $650,000. And we’re close! As of now, we’re about $40,000 short with three days to go. So we have to ask: Can you pitch in $20 or more to help us close the gap and reach this critical goal?
