Over the past few years, Donald Trump has found countless ways to dishonor our troops. From offending Gold Star families to banning transgender Americans from serving in the military, it’s clear that no one, not even our troops, are safe from his attacks. But that doesn’t make this news any less contemptible: Trump is looking for ways to strip deportation protections from the undocumented family members of active-duty military personnel. Will you sign my petition so that we can stop this disastrous plan?

Let’s put politics and partisanship aside -- can’t we all agree that our troops are deserving of this nation’s wholehearted respect and gratitude? And can’t we agree that trying to deport their families is an insult to their sacrifice? If anyone deserves citizenship isn't it those who put their lives on the line for the defense of this country? Serving on the front lines is demanding enough without having to worry if your spouse and children will be deported before you return. I’m proud to support ALL of our troops and military families, and if you are too, I hope you’ll sign my petition today.
