Dear friend,
Imagine waking up every day with a hole in your heart that can never be filled. That’s the reality for countless families who have lost loved ones to senseless violence. Today, on National Grief Awareness Day, we don’t just remember the names and faces of those we’ve lost — we feel their absence in every moment, and we are called to act.
For the founding families of Stand with Parkland, grief is not just a day of remembrance; it’s a lifetime of living with the unimaginable. February 14, 2018, is etched in our souls — a day that should have been like any other but ended in tragedy. My beautiful daughter Gina was taken from me that day, and my heart will never be the same.

But in the midst of our sorrow, we’ve found strength. We’ve turned our grief into a powerful drive to make sure no other family endures what we have. We’re not just mourning — we’re fighting. And today, we’re asking you to join us. We set a goal to raise $5,000 before midnight on Saturday. Do you think you would be able to chip in to support our fundraiser today? [[link removed]]

Friend, it means the world to me and the other Parkland victims’ families to know that there are folks like you who care deeply about the school safety movement. When you’re spending every free minute you have trying to make change on an issue like we are, knowing you’re not alone makes all the difference.

There is still so much more that we’re working to accomplish to make schools safer. We are hoping to be able to propel our work forward as we recognize National Grief Awareness Day, but we need your help. Please continue to assist our school safety movement by sending in a donation of any amount. [[link removed]]
