Have your say on Forum for the Future

To meet our ambition to accelerate the shift to a just and regenerative world by 2030, we know we need to go further, faster.

We know we need to build strong connections with changemakers and to relentlessly make the case for systemic over incremental change.

But what we aren’t sure of is what our valued supporters think of Forum for the Future: where we’re getting it right, and where we could do better.

That’s why we’d love you to take just 15 minutes to share your feedback.

From how you first heard of Forum to what you think and feel about what it is we do, your insights will be invaluable in helping us refine our work and – crucially – how we engage changemakers like you in our shared pursuit of a better future.

To take part, please have your say by 15 September.

Meet members of our new US Advisory Board

Forum has recently announced the creation of a new US Advisory Board, which will provide strategic guidance aimed at deepening our programmatic impact and strengthening our stakeholder engagement in the United States.

Here, a few members of the Board share their thoughts on some of sustainability’s most pressing questions right now.

Find out more about the Board and its members.

What role do you see for philanthropy and other funders in building a more just and regenerative world where people and the planet thrive?
"Scaling climate financing to mitigate and adapt to the climate crisis is a moral and economic imperative. To build a more just and regenerative world, where people and the planet thrive, philanthropy must lead with trust to empower the communities they support.”
— Mayuri Ghosh, Senior Director, Climate Resilience and Sustainability, Clinton Global Initiative and the Clinton Foundation

What does visionary leadership  leadership that sparks innovation and gets things done  look like?
"This is a moment filled with both promise and peril: an opportunity to reinvent our world to be resilient, regenerative and equitable in the face of multiple, cascading planetary crises. To meet the moment requires leaders willing and able to break the mold of linear, incremental thinking, who can inspire action across sectors and foster collaboration globally.”

— Joel Makower, Chairman and Co-Founder, Trellis Group

How can the private sector be a force for good, both for sustainability and US democracy?
“To preserve our democracy, businesses must promote civic engagement, support policy reforms, foster workplace inclusivity, and combat misinformation. Integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria into business strategies aligns profitability with ethical and democratic values.”

— Shameek Bose, Partner and Global Lead for Responsible Business, FleishmanHillard

In an increasingly polarized US, what is the power of multi-stakeholder collaboration? How can it support progress toward our sustainability goals?
"Collaboration across sectors is the key to unlocking innovative solutions for sustainability. By working together, we can tackle systemic issues with the combined wisdom and resources of many, paving the way for a brighter future.”

— Michelle Arévalo-Carpenter, Executive Director, Strategy and Content, SOCAP Global
