Hi John,

I've just published a new blog post:

Since his scheme to replace Biden fizzled, Gavin Newsom’s irrelevance has been the subject of numerous headlines. And he is openly pouting. As one LA Times headline put it, "The governor doesn’t seem happy."

Now, this is no time for a victory lap. With Kamala’s candidacy, the threat of our state’s problems spreading nationwide remains squarely before us. Yet it is nevertheless worth pausing for just a moment of reflection: we spared America from Gavin Newsom.

And that is just one among many recent victories:

  • California State University has joined the UCs, following my letter, in banning encampments on its 23 campuses. And since our committee’s investigation started, half the Ivy League’s presidents are now gone. We are saving higher education from itself.

  • Following my other committee's investigation, Mark Zuckerberg has been forced to admit that Facebook censored American citizens on orders from the Biden Administration. As I discussed on Newsmax, many true posts about COVID were removed.

  • Following our hearing into an illegal advertising boycott of Twitter/X, where I made the case it violated antitrust law, Elon Musk sued the international group that organized the boycott. Now, the group has shut down.

  • Our victory before the Supreme Court on homelessness is paying immediate dividends, as even jurisdictions like San Francisco are clearing encampments.

  • The Oakland DA is being recalled, the San Francisco DA was recalled already, and Los Angeles DA George Gascón is getting crushed in his re-election bid. And of course, this November, we will make crime illegal again with Prop. 36.

The vote on Prop. 36 will be a repudiation not just of Prop. 47, but of the radical failed politics – personified by Newsom and Kamala – that have done such harm to our state. Democrats picked exactly the wrong year to run a San Francisco "progressive" for President.
