Folks, the battleground U.S. Senate race in Maryland will have far-reaching implications that go way beyond just our state.

If the GOP succeeds in buying this seat for their “top recruit” Larry Hogan, they’ll be taking the Senate majority with them.

In just a moment, I’d like to give you three ways in which the significance of our race stretches beyond Maryland, but first: Will you chip in $30 — just $10 for each reason below — toward our $250,000 End-of-Month goal to help win this critical U.S. Senate race?

Alright, here we go:

1) Senate control: Mitch McConnell recruited Larry Hogan (R) for this race because he sees it as his best chance to flip the Senate RED. If they succeed, there will be no stopping them from implementing the worst parts of the MAGA agenda.

2) SCOTUS: The GOP has no reservations about stealing another SCOTUS seat, so we need to defend the Senate to ensure we can fill any vacancies with fair justices appointed by Kamala Harris.

3) Abortion access: A Senate controlled by the GOP would pull every lever at their disposal to restrict, limit, and outright ban abortion nationwide. We cannot let that happen.

For all these reasons and more, all eyes will be on our Maryland Senate race, but we can use that momentum and attention to our benefit.
