John --
This campaign season seems like it's
directly by M. Night Shyamalan, with a new twist happening every week.
This time, it's one of the best-polling independent candidates in a
quarter century dropping out of the race.
Last Friday, RFK, Jr., announced his
withdrawal from the race... kinda, since he's staying on some ballots
but not others. This announcement was coupled with his endorsement of
Donald Trump.
While this is surely going to
have some impact on the race, it's unclear what
impact it will have.
Here at Forward, we're always looking to
provide the voting public more of a voice in our elections, especially
through the inclusion of new and better options at the ballot box.
RFK, Jr.'s, failure to capitalize on his name and his early popularity
shows how difficult it can be for candidates operating outside of the
two legacy parties.
This difficulty is one of the reasons
that Forward is building from the ground up and not engaging in the
presidential race in 2024. 51% of Americans out there are independent,
and yet there isn't the organization to bring this bloc together to
move our country forward.
Yet.
The Forward Party is currently working
with state teams across the country to build out this infrastructure.
Our school board candidates now will be the House candidates of the
future. Our house parties in '24 will turn into political Parties in
'26. Our volunteers of today will be the professional political staff
for the candidates of tomorrow.
Come join us in building something that
can ensure the world we leave our children is better than the one we
inherited from our parents. Elected leaders have spent too much time
moving this country backward.
It's time for us to move Forward.
