National Republicans see North Carolina as the top gubernatorial pick-up opportunity. Meanwhile, Trump knows he has to carry this state if he wants to win the White House. That’s why GOP mega-donors are already spending tens of millions on the airwaves to try to defeat me and drag down Democratic turnout at every level.

Our fight is about more than our race alone, John. If Democrats win in North Carolina, we can STOP the far-right extremist agenda in its tracks.
