I want to take a moment to talk about Ruwa Romman.
I want to take a moment to talk about Ruwa Romman.
Ruwa serves in the George House of Representatives, representing the 97th district. People across the country should hear more about her story, her community, and the issues she is fighting for like restoring access to abortions, improving Georgia’s public education system, expanding access to healthcare, and calling for a ceasefire.
Ruwa’s story is important: Ruwa is the granddaughter of Palestinian refugees. Her family moved to Georgia when she was 7 years old.
Ruwa has been an advocate for her community, volunteering every election cycle since 2014 to help turn Georgia blue. She then ran to represent her community and became the first Muslim woman elected to the Georgia State House and only Palestinian elected in the entire state, breaking barriers while bringing her voice and experiences to the legislative body.
Ruwa is deeply committed to her community and neighbors. Just over two years ago, Ruwa launched her campaign. Now, she’s up for re-election.
Ruwa is facing a competitive election in November and she needs resources like mailers, ads, and canvassers to reach some of the hardest to turnout voters who will determine the outcome of the election of November 5th.
Will you join me in supporting Ruwa today by making a $5 contribution to help re-elect her in just 69 days? Together we can help ensure she is re-elected to the Georgia House of Representatives this year.
