Friend, it’s official: I am Florida's Democratic nominee for senator, which means I'll be taking on Rick Scott in November.

As we head into the final months of the election cycle, I need to know that there's a strong team of grassroots supporters behind me. I can't do this without you, so please: Will you take a moment to personally endorse my campaign to retire Rick Scott?

Make no mistake, friend: Defeating Rick Scott this November won’t be easy. Now that two of his closest allies, Donald Trump and JD Vance, are at the top of the ticket, Rick Scott is spending millions to defeat me and buy this seat again. But enough is enough.

I'm running to defeat Rick Scott because he's consistently put his own interests above those of the people he promised to protect. And I can't sit back and watch him continue to fail Floridians for another term — not when the future of our democracy, our economy, and our rights are all on the line.

But here's the good news: The tides are turning in Florida. With my recent win and polls showing our race statistically tied, now is the time to show Rick Scott and the GOP's megadonor allies that Florida is ready to flip blue.
