John, gun violence was front and center at the DNC.
Survivors and family members of victims of gun violence took the stage to share their stories of survival and activism. We applaud them for speaking out and advocating for freedom from gun violence.
March For Our Lives was founded following the tragic shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018. We’ve seen firsthand the pain, sadness, and anger that communities face following a shooting. But we’ve also learned that these feelings can lead to powerful actions and life-saving changes.
The DNC reconfirmed that our leaders KNOW gun violence is a problem. They KNOW that comprehensive gun safety works. Now it’s time to hold them accountable for implementing it.
As Georgia Rep. Lucy McBath said at the DNC, “Our losses do not weaken us. They strengthen our resolve.” We are not backing down from this fight.
Sign our petition now and help us push for gun safety in the next administration and beyond.
Onwards,
March For Our Lives Action Fund
