Dear John,

Your faithful prayers and support are appreciated so much as we combat the presence of COVID-19 amongst us, especially in the cities of Africa who are in severe lockdown.

In some cities of South Africa, people are queuing for 16 hours or more for food packages as they are unable to work. AE’s response to this crisis is to develop home based evangelism initiatives to stream video, TV and radio into households, and to utilise its vocational education facilities to manufacture facemasks and soap items. Above all we are focussing on lifting Christ our Saviour to give true hope to people harassed and helpless in the face of this invisible threat. Through practical and spiritual steps we will continue our mission to evangelise the cities of Africa in Word and Deed in partnership with the church. As brothers and sisters together, we are all helping lift Africa as well as one another through this time.

In this edition of Harambee, we cover our COVID-19 response, request special prayer for the unsaved during Ramadan and issue our latest quarterly prayer points and African Harvest magazine.

God bless you and may the Lord lift your hearts in encouragement on how He is achieving His great purpose through your prayers and support.

Our AE South African Team are delivering food supplies and other necessities and are very grateful for your support and prayers.

We pray for visions of Jesus during Ramadan.

It is estimated that up to 40% of Africans identify as Muslim, most of these living in the north. Follow the link below to read more about how AE is involved in the evangelism of Muslims in Africa and how you can support us through your prayers.
