It’s disappointing, but it’s not surprising:

Trump and his allies are ramping up their attacks on Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, and they’re only going to escalate from here.

Within hours of Kamala launching her presidential campaign, Trump’s campaign launched a new round of attack ads. They’ve only doubled down since Walz joined the ticket. Recently, some Republicans even tried attacking him over his dog Scout (seriously).

No matter how ridiculous attacks like these are, the truth is that this is just the beginning. In the coming weeks, Trump and his allies are going to spend millions of dollars attacking Kamala, Tim, and Democrats nationwide. If you’re in a battleground state, you won’t be able to turn on the television or get online without seeing an ad attacking Democrats.

Those ads could have a real impact if we don’t have the resources we’ll need to respond.
