Imagine a chemical so lethal that one sip can kill you. Now, imagine millions of pounds of it being sprayed on crops across the United States every year, threatening the lives of everyone who comes into contact with it.

This isn’t a nightmare – it’s a reality. The chemical is called paraquat, and despite bans in 68 countries and links to Parkinson’s disease, lung damage and cancer, it’s still widely used in the U.S. as a weedkiller.

Earlier this month we set the goal of getting 250 donors to support our Stop Pesticide Pollution campaign by August 31. With just 3 days left, we’re still 94 donors short.
