John, it's Congressman Hank Johnson. Over the weekend, I had the honor of attending the unveiling of a statue of my longtime mentor and friend, John Lewis:
After 110 years of a confederate monument standing on the courthouse square in Decatur, DeKalb County, Georgia where my district sits—the new statue of Congressman Lewis serves as a reminder that we MUST continue getting into good trouble, fighting for freedom and justice for all, no matter how tough or uncomfortable the fight.
John, that's why I'm in Congress every day getting into good trouble on behalf of everyday people and families, fighting to lower costs, strengthen the middle class, and protect our freedoms—and I need your help.
Congressman Hank Johnson is a former defense attorney, DeKalb County commissioner, small business owner, and magistrate judge who now serves in Congress as a champion for the middle class.
