Dear John, 

Since being elected to Congress, I have made it a priority to fight the high taxes and over spending that burden so many California families. I’ve led the charge for sensible tax cuts in Congress, including permanently doubling the standard deduction for working families and enhancing the child tax credit in order to lower taxes on Californians.

However, liberals in Washington and Sacramento are working to raise taxes. California families are tired of footing the bill for overspending. Unless Congress acts, taxes on families like yours will go up in a time of already tight budgets.
