I’m going to level with you: we’re in a bit of a tough situation right now. I’m going to make a fundraising ask of you at the end of this email, but first let me explain why.

Our fundraising has understandably slowed down in April. We know that this is a difficult time for many folks between the ongoing pandemic and the state of our economy. I want to thank everyone who has made a donation — this week, this month, this quarter. Thank you for showing your continued support for Mark Warner.

I think it’s never been clearer that we need leaders like Mark in the Senate. He’s working hard for every Virginian: fighting to make sure bi-partisan relief packages benefit Main Street over Wall Street, calling on internet service providers to expand access and remove restrictive broadband caps for rural Virginians, and demanding increased testing in the areas that need it most. In moments of uncertainty, we need people like Mark, who are willing to roll up their sleeves and work until the job is done.

The Senator’s team is working so hard every day to get him re-elected, and I’m amazed by the innovations they’ve come up with. We haven’t been able to have an in-person event in almost two months, but this team is working tirelessly to give folks the opportunity to engage online with virtual town halls and digital organizing opportunities. They’re doing their part to make sure that the campaign keeps moving forward, and we need to continue raising the funds necessary to communicate his tremendous work to every Virginia voter.

Right now, every donation to keep Mark Warner in the Senate fighting for us will be doubled. I know that many are facing hardship right now, but I’m asking that you consider supporting real leadership in Washington.
