Free In-Person Class - Intro to Google Drive & Docs

September 10-12, 2024 from 1–2 p.m.

Two of the great benefits to your Google account are Google Drive and Google Docs. Google Drive is free cloud storage and Google Docs is Google's free alternative to MS Word. In this class you will learn how to store and manage your files online as well as use the Google Docs platform where you can create stunning documents. Requirements for this class: A device connected to the internet and an active Gmail account. This class is onsite at the Northern Kennebec Valley CareerCenter, 23 Stanley Rd. Hinckley, Maine 04944

Each of the centers across the state provides public computers with internet access, Microsoft Office, resume/cover letter writing software, and O*Net [ [link removed] ] software for personal skills assessment. 

Employers can list their open positions on Maine JobLink and use our online system which matches jobs with candidates. All CareerCenter services are provided at no charge to employers and job seekers. Veterans and eligible spouses receive priority of service in all Department of Labor programs.
