Here's the truth about Project 2025, John:
The dangerous policies in this tyrannical plan are already a reality for millions of people in states like Florida, Iowa, Arizona, Ohio, and more.
We'll explain more in a moment, but if you're already in to fight back against Project 2025 and build progressive power in the states, pitch in to support Sister District's work now!
Project 2025 proposes policies to:
- Ban medication abortion. Republicans in Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia have already done it.
- Eliminate 100-year-old federal protections against hazardous work for children. At least 12 states have weakened child labor laws over the past three years.
- Restrict how students are taught about race and racism. This package of extreme policy proposals echoes education policies in place in 22 states with GOP-controlled legislatures.
- Target trans students by calling for schools to only acknowledge students by the names and biological sex listed on their birth certificates and enable broad book banning by expanding the definition of "pornography" to include any books that acknowledge the existence of transgender people. States' dry run for this work was the spate of recently enacted laws in North Carolina, Alabama, Indiana, and more.
Republicans have been building power in the states for decades, and this is the result.
Now, extreme conservatives want to see these policies implemented nationwide — and they are counting on Donald Trump and his MAGA loyalists in state legislatures and Congress to put it into action if they win this year.
John, Sister District is fighting back. By shifting the balance of power in state legislatures and helping Democrats win big in presidential swing states, we can stop Project 2025 and elect leaders who will protect our freedoms.
But with 10 weeks until Election Day, we don't have the luxury of wasting any time. So please, pitch in $24.24 to help Sister District win critical elections in states where we can make the biggest impact.
