Hi there,
First, I wanted to thank everyone for the kind birthday wishes yesterday. The card signed by this team meant so much to me!
I also wanted to thank you for your ongoing support of my work to make New York the best place to raise a family, go to school, find a job, and live a happy life.
When I became Governor a little over three years ago, I set out to take on the right fights for New Yorkers — and I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together.
New York is leading the nation in protecting reproductive healthcare access and voting rights. We’ve secured funding for affordable housing and to improve our schools. And we’re bringing good jobs and new businesses to our state.
There’s more to do, and I’m ready to get to work alongside you.
We can continue to make life more affordable for hard-working families. We can bring more jobs, attract more students to our schools, and build more housing.
And we have the opportunity to take control of Congress this November if we flip the toss-up seats in New York this fall.
I’m proud to be in this fight with you, and I hope you’ll pitch in today to show your support for the work we have ahead of us.
Thank you!
— Governor Kathy Hochul
