I wanted to write you personally because you are a valued member of the ADL community and when young people in our lives face antisemitism, it’s heartbreaking and enraging. That’s why I’m asking for your support today.

Last fall, 73% of Jewish college students said they had experienced or witnessed some form of antisemitism.

Today, as the new school year begins, many students no longer feel safe on campuses. They are bracing themselves for the chaos we witnessed last spring at colleges and universities around the country. They fear being verbally abused or assaulted or having their dorm rooms vandalized. Some are even changing schools.

No one should experience hate on campus.

No one’s education should be disrupted by antisemitism.

Every student deserves a safe learning environment and to be protected from harassment and discrimination.

There’s no place at any school in America for antisemitism or hate or threats of violence of any kind.

Together, we can hold schools and administrators accountable and demand change.
