Hopefully you saw our email from earlier in the week: Team Rosenblum is working hard to reach voters and supporters in advance of the upcoming primary elections next month — and preparing for the push to the general in November.

We are leveraging and investing in digital tools to help mobilize voters and communities across the state to help ensure victory up and down the ballot.

What do you do when a pandemic strikes?

If you're the state's Attorney General, you have more complex, challenging legal questions than usual – and a huge responsibility to continue serving as the people's attorney, looking out for the many vulnerable Oregonians threatened by the virus and its harmful consequences. And, yes, Ellen is doing all this while working from home – holding virtual daily meetings with staff, with AG colleagues around the country, and with partners in the nonprofit and advocacy sectors.

If you're on the AG's campaign team – as I am – you have to find new and innovative ways to get the word out and to ensure Ellen is re-elected. As the campaign manager, I thought you might be interested in some of the ways we're adjusting.

Knocking on Doors – Virtually:

• We're harnessing our one-of-a-kind statewide texting program to reach 300,000 Oregonian voters before our May Primary.
• By November, we hope to have reached 750,000 voters across the state.

Amplifying our Strong Statement in the Voter's Pamphlet:

• This tried-and-true method of communication was sent to all registered voters in Oregon last week.
• I hope you've read yours, as it shows the true merit of AG Rosenblum's time in office. We are working hard to get the word out and make sure voters are informed!

Investing in Digital Organizing Tools:

• We aim to put together a series of tele-events, supporter calls, and Zoom panel discussions with coalition partners, community leaders, and everyday Oregonians. Stay tuned for details as these roll out.
• Increase our digital footprint and engagement on social media. This will help mobilize for November.
