Common Dreams is no stranger to uphill battles. After all, we were founded to lift up the voices fighting for a safe and clean environment, global peace, and economic justice against the greediest, most violent corporations and corrupt governments in the world.

So, how have we survived all these years? We have succeeded for one reason: many, many people who believe in us — our work, mission, and model — chip in at whatever level they can to ensure that independent media exists as a counter to the corporate-funded news model.
