Treasurer Rachael Eubanks
Podcast host Rachael Eubanks was appointed as Michigan's 47th State Treasurer by Governor Gretchen Whitmer in January of 2019. Director Jessica Thomas
Podcast guest Jessica Thomas is the director of the Bureau of Local Government and School Services and has been with BLGSS since November 2019. In this capacity, she is responsible for the day-to-day operation for the administration and enforcement of state laws that implement provision of the Michigan Constitution requiring the taxation of real and personal property, a uniform system of accounting and auditing for local government, and the preservation of the credit of the state. Jessica comes to the position with 25 years of experience in the areas of accounting, finance, and process improvements. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and management from Albion College.
