John, this news is coming after a slew of past complaints and cases alleging that Matt Meyer and his administration enable male perpetrators to act with impunity.

And now, instead of taking accountability for how women are treated under his watch, this is his response:

To quote Spotlight Delaware, “Governments are among the largest employers in Delaware and how they deal with claims of sexual harassment can determine how well they operate.”

Women must be empowered to lead – not ignored when they speak up about mistreatment. Bethany’s record of public service and uplifting women speaks for itself, and she is the woman to make Delaware the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
