Friend of Trust for Public Land,

Every child deserves a safe and healthy environment in which to learn
and grow. This is why we're partnering with the Bureau of Indian
Education (BIE) and tribally controlled schools to revitalize tribal
schoolyards and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of
Indigenous students.

Schoolyards offer essential physical and mental health benefits,
leading to better educational outcomes. However, many schoolyards in
Tribal communities lack the necessary resources to unlock their full
potential.

We need your help: urge Congress to increase funding for the Bureau of
Indian Education today!

Tribal schools have long faced significant challenges due to limited
funding, leaving many students without the necessary resources to
succeed. With increased investment, we can help the BIE and tribally
controlled schools turn outdated schoolyards into inspiring and
culturally significant spaces for Native students to learn and
play.

Join us in advocating for increased BIE funding to provide students
with safe, engaging schoolyards that foster a love of learning,
promote well-being, and honor Indigenous relationship with land.

Thank you for being a part of this vital change for tribal schools
nationwide. Together, we can make a lasting impact, empowering
students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
