Special Counsel Jack Smith Prosecutors Files Another Indictment Against Donald Trump

Townhall: Federal prosecutors have filed a new indictment in the January 6 case against former President Donald Trump, after the Supreme Court granted the 2024 Republican nominee substantial immunity. A spokesman for Special Counsel Jack Smith said the superseding indictment, which was presented to a new grand jury, one that had not previously heard evidence in the J6 case, “reflects the Government’s efforts to respect and implement the Supreme Court’s holdings and remand instructions,” according to the court filing Tuesday afternoon (Townhall). Ryan Fournier: Because they couldn’t win the first go around, they are trying again with a different one. THIS IS CORRUPTION AT ITS FINEST (X)!

IDF Rescues Another Hostage From Hamas in Southern Gaza
National Review: Israeli special forces rescued a hostage from Hamas captivity in Gaza Tuesday morning. Qaid Farhan Alkadi, 52, a Muslim-Israeli man Hamas captured during its October 7 massacre, was rescued by the Israeli military from a tunnel in southern Gaza and transported to a hospital for medical treatment. He is in stable condition and his family has been notified of the situation (National Review). Katie Pavlich: The rescue took place near Rafah, a southern Gaza city President Joe Biden insisted the IDF leave alone. The rescue comes shortly after Hamas rejected yet another ceasefire offer that required the return of all hostages. Eight Americans are being held. Five are thought to be alive (Townhall).

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg States Biden/Harris Pressured Him to Regulate Free Speech
Daily Wire: Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a letter on Monday that the Biden-Harris administration repeatedly pressured his company — which includes Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and more —  to censor content that is protected free speech. Zuckerberg made the admission in a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) this week in which he said that his goal moving forward was to “be neutral and not play a role one way or another” for either any political party or ideology. He said he doesn’t even want the appearance of playing a role and will not be making political contributions. He said that the company made a mistake by temporarily demoting a New York Post story during the 2020 election about Hunter Biden’s laptop after officials falsely suggested that it was part of a “Russian disinformation operation” (Daily Wire). House Judiciary GOP: Mark Zuckerberg just admitted three things: Biden-Harris Admin “pressured” Facebook to censor Americans. Facebook censored Americans. Facebook throttled the Hunter Biden laptop story. Big win for free speech (X).

Who Is Running the United States of America?
Should the sitting president of the United States be taking two-week vacations? Katie Pavlich: President Joe Biden left a week long California vacation Monday and headed back to the East Coast. His destination wasn’t Washington D.C. or the White House. Instead, he’s back in Delaware for an additional two weeks at the beach. His schedule remains blank after receiving the “president’s daily brief.” Meanwhile, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre is also missing in action and has no planned briefings on the schedule. National Security Council spokesman John Kirby held an on-the-record gaggle with reporters Monday, where he was press on Biden’s whereabouts (Townhall). Commentator ProudArmyBrat: Biden just left his week-long vacation in Santa Ynez, California for Dover, Delaware, where he’ll head to Rehoboth Beach for a 9 day vacation. Since stating he dropped out of the race, 34 days ago, he’s spent just 6 days at the White House. WHO IS RUNNING OUR COUNTRY (X)?

Violent Venezuelan Gang Floods Aurora, Colorado
New York Post: Denver’s decision to welcome migrants with open arms is bringing bloodshed to the suburbs next door. A notorious Venezuelan prison gang has set up shop in Aurora, Colorado — even though the town wanted no part of the influx of asylum seekers in the first place. Aurora — a quiet bedroom community with a population of 390,000 directly east of the Mile-High City — has become a base of operations for the brutal Tren de Aragua gang, which has seized multiple apartment complexes and set off a wave of violent crime. Denver leads the nation in new migrant arrivals per capita, with more than 40,000 arriving from the southern border since December 2022. The city has bent over backwards to provide aid, even slashing emergency services to help foot the cost — so far estimated at over $68 million and counting. In February, the Aurora City Council passed a resolution 7-3 emphatically stating that it will not provide resources and support to migrants or others brought into the community from neighboring cities (New York Post). Reporter Jennie Taer: The city of Aurora, Colorado, is overrun by the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua and we’re the first to reveal its “shot caller” known as “galleta” or cookie in English, in the region who has been committing crimes all over the region (X).

Trans Prisoner in Female Jail Repeatedly Sexually Harassed Female Inmate
National Review: A male child molester currently being housed in the Washington Corrections Center for Women (WCCW) has repeatedly sexually harassed a female inmate who is herself a victim of child rape, the victim, Mozzy Clark-Sanchez. Prison officials recently notified Clark-Sanchez that her 2022 Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) case against transgender-identifying inmate Christopher Williams has been referred to the state police. PREA cases are referred to police when the allegations appear to be criminal in nature (National Review). Caroline Downey: Mozzy Clark-Sanchez was told by DOC in August that her case against trans-identifying male felon Christopher Williams had been referred to state police. Williams goes by his male name. During Covid, he asked to room with Mozzy. Then the predation began (X).

Lowes Backtracks Woke, DEI Policies After Conservative Activist Threatens to Make Them Public
Washington Post: Lowe’s is the latest big company to alter its diversity, equity and inclusion policies amid pressure from conservative podcast host and activist Robby Starbuck. Starbuck, who has been waging campaigns against corporate DEI programs, approached Lowe’s last week, telling the company he planned to target the home-improvement giant over policies such as their employee resource groups and donations to Pride events. The company responded Monday with preemptive changes (Washington Post). Robby Starbuck: Here are the changes. Ending participation in the HRC’s woke Corporate Equality Index social credit system. No more donations to pride events or other divisive events. Ending ERG groups in favor of one large unifying ERG group for all employees, no longer designed to focus on race or sexual orientation… We are winning and one by one we WILL bring sanity back to corporate America. So far you’ve helped me change corporate policy at Tractor Supply, John Deere, Harley Davidson, Polaris, Indian Motorcycle and now Lowe’s. We are a force to be reckoned with (X).

Michigan States it Is Too Late to Remove RFK Jr. From the Ballot
Just the News: Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., the independent presidential candidate who suspended his campaign last week and endorsed GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, will still appear on the Michigan ballot for the presidential race in November, according to the secretary of state’s office. When Kennedy endorsed Trump on Friday, he said that he would withdraw his name from the presidential ballot in key swing states so that it wouldn’t hurt Trump. However, that will not be possible in Michigan (Just the News). Axios: But in Michigan, one of the states that could decide the election, it’s too late for Kennedy to remove his name, per the secretary of state’s office. “Minor party candidates cannot withdraw, so his name will remain on the ballot in the November election,” Cheri Hardmon, senior press secretary for Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson said in a statement. Kennedy, who is on the Michigan ballot as the nominee of the Natural Law Party, was nominated earlier this year. “The Natural Law Party held their convention to select electors for RFK Jr.. They cannot meet at this point to select new electors since it’s past the primary.” Hardmon said (Axios).

California Senate Passes Bill Requiring Illegals to Pay Zero Down, Zero Interest for Home Loans
If you have not realized it by now, our leaders hate American citizens. Center Square: The California Senate passed a contentious bill to allow for undocumented immigrants to use the state’s zero-down, zero-interest home “loans” program despite national backlash following coverage of the bill’s looming passage. With 23 votes for and 11 votes against — including all nine Republicans and Democratic State Sens. Catherine Blakespear, D-Encinitas, and Dave Min, D-Irvine — the bill narrowly passed the 21 vote majority threshold in the Senate. California’s Dream for All Shared Appreciation Loans program allows applicants to secure “loans” of up to $150,000 or 20% of the home’s purchase price — or, about what a typical down payment is — with zero down payment on this state “loan,” and no payments. In exchange, the state receives the original loan amount plus 20% of the appreciated gain when the home is refinanced, sold, or transferred. In the last fiscal year, the state allocated $255 million for the program for 1,700 lucky “winners” of an application lottery (Center Square). Collin Rugg: The program was initially only for legal residents however the new version would allow for illegal immigrants to apply for the program. California Governor Gavin Newsom has not yet committed to signing the bill into law (X).

Kamala Harris Embraces Trump’s Border Wall
Another Trump policy she is in favor of. Axios: If she’s elected president, Kamala Harris pledges to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on the wall along the southern border — a project she once opposed and called “un-American” during the Trump administration. It’s the latest example of Harris flip-flopping on her past liberal positions such as supporting Medicare for All and banning fracking — proposals that aides say she now is against. Harris is embracing a more hawkish immigration policy as Donald Trump’s campaign spends tens of millions of dollars attacking her about the border. In her speech to the Democratic National Convention last week, Harris said she would sign the recent bipartisan border security bill. That bill, negotiated by senators such as James Lankford (R-Okla.) and Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), requires hundreds of millions of dollars of unspent funds to be used to continue building a wall on the border. “It requires the Trump border wall,” Lankford told Axios (Axios). JD Vance: Kamala Harris is a fake. If she wants to build the border wall, she could start right now (X)! Collin Rugg: Kamala Harris on the border wall over the years: 2017: “Asking taxpayers to pay for a border wall is a terrible idea.” 2018: “Funding Trump’s unrealistic border wall would be a gross misuse of taxpayer money.” 2019: “Trump’s border wall is stupid.” 2020: “As I said, Trump’s border wall is a complete waste of taxpayer money and won’t make us any safer.” 2021: Becomes border czar and lets millions of illegals in. 2022: Lets millions of illegals in. 2023: Lets millions of illegals in. 2024: “Build The Wall!” Time for the media to do more cleanup (X).
