Report: Secret Service was offered radios to communicate with local police day before Trump shooting, never picked them up
open

However, the agency never picked them up. A communications breakdown has been blamed for failure of the USSS to hear a radio call from a Butler police officer, warning them someone was on the roof across from Trump.
