Hey James, it’s Madeleine, Kristin’s campaign manager. I’m reaching out because we have a critical deadline coming up in just a few days, and I wanted to check in and explain why it’s so critical that we hit our fundraising goal.

Two weeks ago, wealthy Trump-backed Republican Tony Wied won the primary and officially became our opponent. Thanks to his immense personal wealth, his campaign isn’t worried about how they’ll bankroll ads and fund volunteer efforts. They’ve got that covered without even trying.

We’re trying to close the gap, but time is running out quickly. At the same time, I’m writing our campaign plan for the last two months of this campaign, and knowing what we’ll be able to fund is key to victory.
