Hi John.
I understand Kansans are concerned about higher prices. Higher costs for groceries, gas, and more are a serious burden on hardworking people.
I’ve made lowering costs for Kansans a top priority. So today, I’m sharing a special report on how I’m pushing to build an economy that works for everyone.
And as always, listening to you always helps me do better >>

Building an Economy with Lower Costs
I know many Kansans are struggling higher health care costs.
For example, I've met Julie, who lives in Overland Park. She has diabetes and depends on her insulin to stay healthy.
But Julie was faced with having to pay thousands of dollars per year for her medicine. Because of Julie and many others like her, I helped pass a law to cap insulin prices at $35 a month for seniors.
Julie now doesn’t have to worry about paying another $650 a month for her insulin thanks to the new law.
The new law also finally lets Medicare negotiate for lower prescription drug prices. In fact, Medicare recently finished negotiating lower prices for ten prescriptions. Prices for these medicines will be reduced by up to 79 percent!
But I understand there's more to do. That's why I’m supporting a bipartisan bill to double child care tax cuts for middle class families. And I’m working with both parties to lower grocery prices by helping Kansas farmers grow and deliver food more cheaply, and by stopping corporate price gouging.

Building an Economy with More Jobs in the U.S.
It’s past time to create more jobs here in America – not China.
That's why I worked as a negotiator with Kansas Senator Moran to pass a major, bipartisan manufacturing law.
The CHIPS and Science law has helped lead to a surge of factory construction across America.
The new law will also help tackle inflation by further reducing supply chain delays. Chart source: Steve Rattner, Economic Analyst, NBC News.
I also worked with both parties to bring Panasonic's new manufacturing facility to De Soto.
This is the biggest economic development project in Kansas.
The Panasonic plant means thousands of new, good paying jobs for Kansas. I worked with Republicans and Democrats to attract this investment to our region.

Building an Economy with Modern Infrastructure
I'm honored to serve you on the U.S. House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. Rebuilding Kansas roads, bridges, railways, and more is a top priority of mine.
That's why I helped pass a bipartisan infrastructure law.
As we worked on the bill, I had numerous discussions with local Republicans and Democrats and the White House to ensure Kansas was always part of the conversation. Now the bipartisan infrastructure law is making a difference for Kansans. That includes helping to modernize U.S. 69.
The Chamber of Commerce says the law is fiscally responsible. And now, we’re seeing the results.
That includes modernizing U.S. 69 in Overland Park, expanding K-68 in Louisburg, and replacing lead pipes in Olathe.

I understand there's more work to do.
My mom raised my brothers and me on her own. She served in the U.S. Army for twenty years and later worked for the postal service. I worked several jobs to help make my way through college and I'm still paying off my student loans. More Kansans need a fair opportunity to succeed today just like I did.
