### **URGENT CALL FOR ACTION FROM KYIV**
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky sounded an urgent alarm yesterday after Russia unleashed a massive attack on his nation, firing over 200 missiles and drones targeting civilians and critical infrastructure sites. This brutal assault underscores the imperative need for stronger support from Western allies in bolstering Ukraine's defenses.
President Zelensky took to social media platform 'X' to reveal the devastating scale of the onslaught, citing more than 100 different missile variants and around 100 Iran-provided Shahed drones employed in coordinated assaults. He reiterated his plea to partner countries to remove existing constraints on providing advanced defensive capabilities, emphasizing that Ukrainians deserve equal protection under international law.
