FIRST: The GOP rallied behind Trump’s Project 2025, which includes dismantling our democracy, attacking reproductive rights, threatening health care coverage for millions of Americans, making it more difficult to vote, and more. If Republicans win in November, this plan will not just take us before civil rights but will take us back before the Civil War.

THEN: Last week, we watched as history was made with the nomination of Kamala Harris as the first Black and South Asian woman to lead the Democratic ticket for president. Democrats up and down the ballot laid out a plan of hope, strength, and unity with the commitment to build on progress and move our nation forward. The energy was off the charts, and the enthusiasm was palpable.

NOW: We have 70 days until Election Day. Momentum is on our side, but we must continue to build towards Democratic victories this November. Donald Trump and his weird VP want to take our nation backward; we cannot let that happen.
