It’s Rita Hart, IDP Chair. The Republican Party is furious that Kamala Harris is leading in the polls, that Democrats in Iowa have knocked almost 35,000 doors in the last three weeks , and that we have had more Cash on Hand nine months in a row. In short, we’re disrupting their one-party control of our state.
Iowa Democrats are rallying behind our candidate, and that makes them scared. Scared because they’ve been free to pass unpopular policies that hurt Iowa families for years, and soon that control could come to an end.
That’s why it’s more important than ever that we are ready for 2024. Republicans want to be here for the long run so they can push their extremist agenda on Iowa, whether Iowans agree with them or not.
