Friend, of the 8.4 million Americans living with diabetes who rely on insulin to survive, 1 out of 4 have to ration their insulin to keep their costs down.

Costing as much as $350 a bottle, insulin is just one of the many medications made unaffordable by the predatory pricing of Big Pharma.

For people living in poverty in this country, being able to take insulin – a lifesaving necessity – has now become a luxury. And that is absolutely unacceptable.

That's why last year, Letitia James fought back against Big Pharma and secured a $35 insulin cap for uninsured New Yorkers – a major win for the roughly 1.8 million people living with diabetes in the state.

But there are still countless others who need consistent, affordable access to this medication, both in New York and nationwide.

Letitia James will always fight against Big Pharma until they make insulin and other lifesaving medications affordable for every single New Yorker and American.
