Hi, we’ve been busy in the field fighting for our climate future by having organizers on the ground in key states across the country. Before you catch up on our efforts, here are some quotes about our recent efforts for EVs and the environment.

Recently in Michigan, our organizer, Tina Catron spearheaded a press event with Moms Clean Air Force for the Clean Cruise!

The Clean Cruise, in the epicenter of the U.S. automotive industry, featured over 40 electric vehicles, 30 vendors, and several Michigan environmental leaders, including Congresswoman Haley Stevens!

Tina said it best “Whether people push back on it or not, the EV transition is happening” — but we want to know if you’re with us.

We’re working to elect climate champions who prioritize EVs as part of their transition to a clean energy economy. But we also want to hear your thoughts: Are EVs an important issue for you this election?

Despite the misinformation spread about electric vehicles, investments in EVs are improving lives. In Pennsylvania, more than 64,000 PA EV owners will save $27,000 over ten years after President Biden’s $188 billion national clean energy investment.

Our President David Kieve spoke about the investment saying it “will lead to the creation of 195,000 jobs” and asked Pennsylvanians “whether they miss spending their hard-earned money at the gas pump, or on costly repairs.”

In the Southwest, the EDF Action team traveled to Arizona in June to join Senator Mark Kelly and local leaders to celebrate a $10.5 billion federal investment in clean energy.

“These investments are creating good-paying jobs that Arizonans can actually raise a family on and strengthening our state’s position at the forefront of the clean energy transition,” said Senator Kelly.

Electric vehicles address serious problems in the community by creating jobs and decreasing pollution. We need to know if electing climate champions who will fight for EVs and clean energy is important to you. Click here to take our one-question EV survey today!

Here at EDF Action, we’re working to support climate champions like Senator Kelly. That’s why we launched a six-figure ad campaign in key states, supporting electric vehicle policies.

We’ve been putting in the work across the country to spread the news about the healthier, safer, and more affordable communities that electric vehicles and clean energy investments create.

We’re fired up and ready to fight for EVs this election season, are you with us? If you so take our EV survey today>>>
