Hi John,

The American Dream has always promised a future where hard work and
determination can lead to owning a home, raising a family, and building a life
of prosperity. But for many young Americans today, that dream is slipping
further out of reach.

Skyrocketing home prices, soaring interest rates, and crushing inflation have
made it nearly impossible for young people to buy their first home.

* The median sale price of homes <[link removed]>
has gone up 31.7% since 2019.
* The expenses of owning a home
<[link removed]>
, excluding mortgage payments, has gone up 26% since 2020.
Young Americans who saved for years are now finding that their nest egg, if
they even have been able to save one, isn’t enough to secure a place to call
their own.

Here’s the bottom line: Many Americans find that home prices and associated
costs have become unaffordable.Rent
<[link removed]> has gone up 30.7% and a
whopping 78% of Americans areliving paycheck to paycheck
<[link removed]>
. This has made it impossible to save for a down payment.

buy a house and cover other basic expenses. Keep reading to learn how AFP can

This isn’t just a housing problem—it’s a symptom of bad economic policies that
have driven up the cost of living across the board. Bidenomics has created an
environment where inflation is rampant, and economic stability feels out of
reach for far too many.

If we don’t push back against these harmful policies, the American Dream will
be nothing more than a memory for the next generation.

But we have the power to make a difference. Together, we can fight for
economic policies that restore hope and opportunity. We can ensure that young
Americans have the chance to own a home, build a family, and live out the
promise of the American Dream.

Here’s what you can do: Send a letter
<[link removed]>
to your lawmakers today. Your voice can make a difference—don't let bad
economic policy steal the future.
