Hi John, I’m reaching out to you with a more personal message today.

Like many of you, when I got to know Kamala, I fell in love with her fast. I learned what drives her, and it's exactly what you've seen over these past four years -- and especially these past four weeks.

She finds joy in fighting for the people. She stands up to bullies just like my parents taught me. She likes to see people do well, and dislikes when they're treated unfairly. Her empathy is her strength.

It's only fitting that last week, on our tenth wedding anniversary, I got to watch her make history as she accepted the Democratic nomination for President of the United States.

Kamala is going to make an incredible president. She will lead the country with joy and toughness, with compassion and conviction. I can't wait.

In this election, you must decide who to trust with your family's future. I trusted Kamala with our family's future, and it was the best decision I ever made. She believes that wherever we come from, whatever we look like, we are strongest when we fight for what we believe in -- not just against what we fear.
