New Resources Action Items Media Equity Value Coverage

Dear Health Advocates,

August is coming to an end and so is summer, so you know what that means. Like the leaves, our opportunities are changing every week, so take a look!

This week, Families USA released a new insights blog on the health insurance premium increases CMS proposed at the beginning of August. It includes actionable requests for advocates to make in order to keep premiums lower!

We also want to remind you all to please fill out our Save the Date for our annual Health Action Conference, which will be held in person this year at the Capitol Hilton in Washington, DC on January 23-24! Once you save the date, we'll be in touch for your RSVP to secure your spot at HAC 2025.

Finally, Families USA has selected a diverse group of 20 health care providers and health equity champions including dentists, pharmacists, and community health workers, for the sixth cohort of its Health Equity Academy in System Transformation Fellowship! This cohort, “Providers for REAL (Realizing Equity, Advancing Lives)," is committed to fostering a just and equitable health care climate and supporting providers in becoming powerful advocates for their patients and communities.
