While California is a safe blue state, we still need to worry. If Trump wins and if Republicans are allowed a majority, California WILL be impacted:
❌ Harsher immigration laws and practices that will deeply impact migrant families, their livelihoods, our massive agricultural industry supported by thousands of hardworking temporary farmers, and consequently our community and economy
❌ Massive Social Security cuts and raising the retirement age, which will severely impact about 570,000 people in CA-38
❌ Denying the right to an abortion and making access to all forms of reproductive care, including contraception, difficult
❌ Voting rights stripped away, an attempt to discriminately silence voters of color to wrongfully give Republicans the upper hand in elections
❌ Few restrictions on corporate polluters and disregard for clean energy, consequently impacting future generations and their quality of life
