John,

Conservative state legislatures, emboldened by Trump's Supreme Court and the rollback of Roe v. Wade , have moved quickly to further restrict access to essential reproductive healthcare for millions of women across the country.

The horror stories that we have heard of women turned away from emergency rooms and doctors unable to care for patients for fear of criminal penalties are hard to imagine in 2024 – yet they are true.

I want you to know that I am determined to protect our reproductive freedom because (say it with me) we’re not going back , John.

At the Democratic National Convention last week, Kamala Harris made a powerful vow: the first bill Congress puts in front of her to protect reproductive freedom, she will sign. She’s ready to fight for us. But we can’t wait for the election to take action.

If Trump returns to the presidency and his extremist GOP allies in the House stay in power, they will continue to dismantle our rights and push us further back. We can’t let that happen.

We need your help now. Will you take action today by signing my petition calling on Congress to prepare for action on day one of the Harris presidency? Election Day is just around the corner and we have to start organizing right now if we’re going to make sure that Trump's Supreme Court and extremist lawmakers don’t get the last word on our health care.

Please, sign the petition today and stand with us in this fight for our rights. [[link removed]]

Thank you for your unwavering support. Together, we’ll protect our future.

Marilyn
