John,
We’ve seen decent Republican leaders like Anthony Gonzalez, Adam Kinzinger, Mitt Romney, and Liz Cheney chose to stand up for America and defy Trump.
While this handful of Republicans did the right thing, other politicians have used Trump's assault on democracy to increase their own power. Max Miller is one of those vile politicians.
He kissed up to President Trump as a White House aide, even helping Trump plan January 6th. Then, he moved to our gerrymandered Republican district to run for Congress, and won the Republican nomination because he had Trump's support. He then became Donald Trump’s closest ally in Congress.
I decided to run for Congress because I'm gravely concerned for our democracy. Today, our politicians spew misinformation and tell us to hate each other instead of doing their job and serving us. This trend must be reversed.
Max Miller represents an existential threat to our democracy. He's gone along with Trump's authoritarianism, and won’t do anything that President Trump and the far right don’t approve of. We can't let him win this election.
Max currently has a fundraising advantage, and we need your help keeping pace. Can you donate $100, $50, $25, or even $7 (for Ohio’s 7th district) to fuel us to a win this November?
