Red Power: China's Grip on the Future of Texas

- But, for the Chinese Communist Party, it has meant an opportunity to undermine the United States.
- Red Power exposes the ways in which climate hysteria and crass corporate cronyism are driving the push for wind and solar power generation. And, more importantly, how it is undermining our national and economic security to the benefit of Beijing.

Biden-Harris Lose Track of Thousands of Unaccompanied Minors
- More than 290,000 unaccompanied illegal alien children have not been issued notices to appear in court by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which advocates say limits the chances of evaluating their safety. Will Biagini reports on the findings of a new report from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General.
- The report asserts that ICE, having not issued notices to appear in court to illegal alien children, is unable to monitor the whereabouts of those minors once they are released from custody. Reportedly, ICE has no process in place to address unaccompanied minors if they fail to appear in court.
- Further, the report finds ICE has no assurance that unaccompanied children are protected in any way from trafficking or exploitation.

Taking a break from government, politics, and policy, yesterday we asked readers which of Texas' university football programs they were supporting.
Here's a sampling of the answers we received from folks after they answered the survey...
“I will be rooting for Texas Tech. It is a family alma mater, but more importantly, they are probably the least woke on the list.” – Susan Valliant
“While I root for all Texas teams when they play against outside colleges, I wholeheartedly root for Tarleton State University. GO TEXANS!” – Rob Martinez
“Normally, I would vote for Texas A&M, but not anymore. Too woke! So, don't care is my response.” – Laura Morton
“Have better things to do than watch overpaid adults acting like children.” – Howard Benham
“I’ll always love the Aggies. Hurts to see the efforts being made to make them woke.” – Linda Edmondson
“Most colleges put more effort and money into sports than they do education (brainwashing).” – Donald Vandewerker
“We will be at the season opener of the perennially ignored Texas State Bobcats. Eat ‘em up!” – Elissa Harrell
“By ‘Other Team,’ I have no doubt you are referring to the University of North Texas.” – Steve Sullivan
“Don’t forget our UTSA Roadrunners! Birds up!” – Mark Juelg
“Oh, to return to the heydays of the Southwest Conference!” – Arthur Potter
“Why would I care? Our colleges are cesspools of woke doctrine, teaching our kids this crazy ideology that they never learned at home. Spend the money on God-fearing professors to bring our society back into proper alignment instead of football stadiums!” – Nina Kruzan
“Too much emphasis is placed on sports in this country. I know people who cannot carry on a conversation if it is not about a sports team. Who cares how many home runs Babe Ruth hit in his career? Yet they can’t tell you who the Speaker of the House is currently. I think this is intentional to get people’s minds on unimportant things so they won’t notice what the politicians are doing to us.” – Reed Vestal
“Personally, I'm not a huge fan of football - I'd rather watch rodeo or baseball, or preferably, go shoot a USPSA, IDPA, or 3-Gun match. Regardless of the chosen sport, I encourage all of the young men and women to pick a sport and compete! The discipline in training for a game or match, the ability to work as part of a team, and the camaraderie of the sport are valuable experiences that everyone should partake in!” – Monte Long
“Unfortunately, politics has, in my view, invaded football and taken away the fun.” –Roger Taylor
“I have always been a fan of A&M football, not of the administration’s woke political activism.” – Howard Klutts
“I did not go to college, but I always loved watching Aggie football. I watched religiously for decades. That all changed when the university began the DEI crap. I haven’t watched sports in years, they’ve all been ruined. UFC is the only one that I will watch.” – Brooke Walsh
