Dear John,
Australians are doing it tough.
Under Labor, the cost of living has skyrocketed. Food’s up by 11%, housing by 15%, electricity by 22%. The RBA has said this is “homegrown inflation” as well, it’s not as though this is the result of global factors.
Despite causing this terrible mess that we’re in, Labor Treasurer Jim Chalmers last night has spent his time playing petty partisan politics and attacking us.
That’s right, instead of outlining a plan to fix the cost-of-living crisis he and Albanese created, he used an important “pre-election” speech to just attack Peter Dutton and the Coalition.
Remember, this is a bloke who is recklessly pursuing an 82% renewables target by 2030, and who refuses to outline how much it will cost, and how many jobs will be lost.
He’s pumped $315 billion in extra spending into the economy, and then gaslit Australians, saying “it won’t be inflationary” (of course it was).
If Labor is so scared that they need to start these derisive attacks now, it means that an early election is back on the cards, before they make things much, much worse.
They’re going to keep attacking everyone who disagrees with them, I’ll be next, then they’ll go after Jacinta Price. But we have no intention of being silenced by Labor.
That means we need to keep building our war chest, to put us in the best possible position to fight back against this divisive, out of touch government.
John, can I count on you to rush a secure donation to our election warchest, so that we can fight back against Labor’s attacks?
Thank you for all that you do.
