Wow! Last week I got to witness history in the making at our party’s convention. And what a week it was, John.

I was showing all of my photos to my family, and I realized that I had to share my experience with folks like you, too.

As soon as we got to Chicago, I had the amazing privilege of meeting DNC delegates and Caucus members from across the country, the Democratic Party’s top leaders, and even a few of the incredible speakers, performers, and content creators at the convention.

We got to hear from not one, not two, but THREE presidents! (Presidents Biden, Obama, and Clinton.) Their speeches were so powerful. Kamala and I could not be more grateful for their support.

I got to speak directly to folks, too. (Imagine that, a guy from Nebraska on the DNC stage!) It was so cool to feel the momentum in the room. Just like you: They want to bring our country together. And win this.

What I will remember for the rest of my life is when the Vice President accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination. It was such a privilege to be with her in that moment and to witness history.

You know, we have real momentum coming out of this convention. And we can't afford to lose any steam. Last week is proof that people want to be a part of something that is good. Something that is hopeful and joyous. And something that welcomes them in. We have to keep the energy up.

That is what this campaign is about and that is why Kamala and I need you onboard.

So, will you rush your first $25 now? We can’t afford to lose steam after such a momentous week.
