Hey, friend, it's Rachel, Sherrod's campaign manager. I'm reaching out because it's been a tough couple weeks here, and I wanted to give you an update. 

We're being outspent on the airwaves, and all the Republican attack ads against Sherrod are having a big impact. We don't have the funds yet to answer with our own new ads and get Sherrod's Dignity of Work message directly to enough voters. And I'm sure you know that the stakes are high with Senate control on the line. 

We're trying to close the fundraising gap with an urgent 48-hour push, but time is almost up, and we're still short of our critical $500,000 goal. If we don't make it, the GOP will continue to overpower us on the airwaves with attack ads, and everyday Ohioans won't get to hear directly from Sherrod. That's a recipe for defeat. 

With polls showing this race neck and neck, there's no time to waste – we have to turn things around quickly. That's why I'm personally asking, friend, will you please chip in $5 or more right now? Help us win in Ohio and keep the Senate blue.
